3-Week Intensive Course

Programme of studies

1. 5 x 4 classes (45 minute units) every week for 3 weeks (a total of 60 classes), in groups of 4-8 people
   
2. from beginner to advanced level; at the levels beginner and intermediate the language of mediation is English
   
3. placement test at the beginning of the course; examination offered at the end of the course
   
4. syllabus: normally the Hungarolingua series

Important dates:

1. registration: continuously
   
2. deadline for application: the Monday preceding the course start
   
3. placement test: written part sent out by email or fax, oral placement session held on the first day of the course, at 7:30 a.m. (applicants are informed about eventual changes to this schedule via email/phone)
   
4. classes: from Monday through Friday 9:00-12:15 (with a 15 minute break) but the schedule can be adjusted slightly in line with the demands of the group and as a function of our possibilities. Attention: the afternoon option is only avaliable at our courses marked in bold above!

Course fee:

• HUF 78,000, to be settled in advance, in one instalment (discount options: in case of consecutive courses we give a discount of HUF 5,000 from the 2nd course on; the fee for 3 or more courses is HUF 70,000/course (if paid in advance, in one amount!)
  
• the course fee does not include the price of study materials (normally, in the case of the levels of Hungarolingua 1 and 2 the price of the book and workbook is HUF 6,750 in total)
  
• in case of a cancellation after the course start for reasons not attributable to our school we charge an organisation fee of HUF 12,500 (in addition to the proportional amount of the course fee).

6-Week Afternoon Courses

Dates(2009):

January 19 - February 27; March 2 - April 10 ; November 2 - December 11

Programme of studies:

1. 3 x 3 classes (45 minute units) every week for 6 weeks (a total of 54 classes)
   
2. groups of 4-8 people
   
3. from beginner to advanced level; at the levels beginner and intermediate the language of mediation is English
   
4. placement test at the beginning of the course; examination offered at the end of the course
   
5. syllabus: normally the Hungarolingua series

Important dates:

1. registration: continuously

4. classes: Mondays/Wednesdays/Fridays 1430- 1700 (with a 15 minute break)

Course fee:

• HUF 75,000, to be settled in advance, in one instalment (discount options: in case of consecutive courses we give a discount of HUF 5,000 from the current course on; the fee for students presenting a Hungarian or international student card is HUF 60,000 (in this latter case no other discounts shall apply)
  
• the course fee does not include the price of study materials (normally, in the case of the levels of Hungarolingua 1 and 2 the price of the book and workbook is HUF 6,750 in total)
